Curatorial Statement, as part of Change, Coordinates + Someone Else Design House Exhibition, 2017.

The state of things today poses the question of valid methodologies of instigating change. It begs a growing sensitivity and intellect towards specific, more local situations, most of which originate from broader, more globalized issues of displacement, instability and the sheer complexities of the socio-political and economic situation. There is an attempt at subversion, an act of subtle rebellion, in addressing today’s state of things. It is a statement of accountability and an action to take the lead. It gives us a strong sense of possibility; a changing world to be reimagined, rediscovered, and remade.
